Exit Survey Employee Turnover is a serious problem for most companies. The cost of recruiting, hiring and training new employeescombined with the general loss in productivitycan be enormously expensive for companies. When exiting a company, employees tend to offer explanations that are considered socially acceptable, such as money, schedule, or benefits. Often, by delving further into employees' reasons for leaving, organizations discover a myriad of organizational, operational, and personal factors that may be influencing employees decisions to leave the company. Exit Surveys encourage the exiting employee to honestly express factors that have influenced their decision to leave. Armed with this information, the organization can take action, first by creating a more accommodating work environment, and further by identifying factors and attributes that make a person a strong candidate for the position or organization in the first place. |
